Product Summary
The Myprotein THE Whey is the way for those looking for a low-calorie, high-protein protein powder. Each scoop contains 120 calories, 100 calories of which come from protein. There are some artificial ingredients, but very few and there are only two grams of carbohydrates and 1.5 grams of fat per serving.
This protein powder is also an excellent choice for anyone on a budget. The 30-serving container comes out to around $1.83 per scoop, and the 60-serving container is even more affordable at $1.33 per scoop. You’ll also get four grams of L-citrulline per scoop, which reportedly helps with blood flow to the muscles to improve workout performance and recovery.*
The reviews for THE Whey’s tastes were mixed (get it?), but more people seemed to enjoy the three flavors (chocolate fudge, cookies & cream, and vanilla ice cream). There were several complaints of stomach issues after taking the powder, which may be due to the presence of glutamine.
