Product Summary
Rogue’s LB-3 Log Bar meets the high standards of a competition-ready 12″ Strongman log–with a precision, neutral-grip design optimized for developing max strength while reducing stress on the shoulders.
Manufactured in Columbus, OH, the LB-3 is Rogue’s first 12″ diameter log bar–measuring 2″ wider than the LB-1 Bar and 4″ wider than the intermediate LB-2. The log portion itself is 52″ long and constructed from 11-gauge steel with a textured black powder coating for a better stick on the clean. The parallel, neutral grip handles measure 1.25″ in diameter (about 0.4″ less than the LB-1) and are spaced two feet apart–ideally positioned for the clean and for better balance and comfort on the overhead log press, bench press, etc. The inclusion of extra-large hand holes also create much-needed extra space for the athlete’s forearms.
At more than 130LB unloaded, the LB-3 Log Bar is roughly twice the starting weight of the LB-1, and can be merciless on the unprepared. The bar’s 14.25″ long sleeves are made from solid round steel, and–when loaded with Olympic plates–they bring the log’s full weight capacity well over 1,000LB.
