Product Summary

The XTERRA Fitness FB350 Folding Bike is a budget-friendly, compact recumbent bike ideal for those looking for a low-impact workout session from home. Featuring thick, padded lower back and seat pads as well as multi-grip padded seat handles, the FB350 is intended to keep you comfortable throughout your ride. However, the seat is not adjustable and reportedly uncomfortable for larger individuals. The bike comes equipped with handlebar pulse grip sensors, an accessory holder, eight levels of resistance, a 3.3-pound magnetic flywheel and a small LCD screen which displays time, speed, distance, calories and pulse.

When folded, the FB350 stamps out a footprint of 20.5 inches long by 20.5 inches wide, which is quite compact. It comes with built-in transport wheels so users can store it when not in use. That said, many users reported that folding the bike was cumbersome and frustrating. Further, the transport wheels did not seem to do much in the way of helping move the bike around.

The FB350 is an entry-level bike that lacks the bells and whistles found on pricier models. The seat is not adjustable (the handles are), the pedals are small, it reportedly makes noise after several uses, and overall, the performance is just okay. XTERRA claims the bike supports weights up to 225 pounds and individuals between 4 foot 10 inches and 5 foot 10 inches tall, but users who fall within this height range reported hitting their knees on the handlebars.

For less than $150, many of the drawbacks noted can and should be expected. While this bike is not for everyone and certainly not a great fit for those looking to ride hard, the FB350 could be a viable option for biking newbies in smaller spaces.
