Bottom Line
Titan Fitness has continued to bring us new equipment to fill our gym and these new Competition Kettlebells are no exception.
Kettlebells are nothing new when it comes to those who have followed Titan Fitness for some time. Titan Fitness has offered cast-iron kettlebells for quite some time. The best kettlebells are an extremely versatile piece of equipment, that although previously unaffordable for most, are now in the realm of possibility.
Cast-Iron Kettlebells do a great job of providing weight for most movements and people. However, for those who compete in Kettlebell Sport or want a more accurate bell, then competition kettlebells are your best bet.
Now it is not a lie that Titan Fitness is a little late to the game with just now dropping their version of the competition kettlebells…but as the saying goes, “better late than never,” and we could not agree more. Companies such as Rogue (to no one’s surprise), Rage Fitness, and Vulcan Strength have had their version of the competition kettlebell for some time, so we can assume Titan Fitness has taken a few tips from these companies and put it to good use with their latest release.
Like most people, it is easy to wonder, “why do I even need a competition kettlebell?” Or, “is there really any difference between a cast iron kettlebell and a competition kettlebell?” Two very great questions.
With kettlebells being some of the most all-purpose pieces of equipment on the market, you may be doing a disservice to your training and your body by not owning one.
The typical nature of the kettlebell is not only to build up your strength while working out, it also provides a great endurance aspect. Not only can you perform the basic kettlebell swing movement, exercises such as the snatch, clean and jerk, squats, thrusters, etc can all be performed with a kettlebell.
While these are working your major muscle groups such as the back, shoulders, and legs, kettlebells will also increase grip strength that can be applied to just about every movement across the board that does not use a kettlebell.
With all of these movements and benefits coming into play by working out with a kettlebell, it is now important we make sure quality assurance is taken into account when choosing a kettlebell.
The Titan Fitness Competition Kettlebell sets itself apart from a regular cast iron kettlebell. All of their competition kettlebells are not only equivalent in the size of the kettlebell, they also offer the trainee a universal grip size for all weights of their competition kettlebell line. This is a significant difference because when working out with cast iron kettlebells, the handles range in thickness depending on the weight of the cast iron kettlebell and the bell are all different sizes. For example, the Titan Fitness competition kettlebell has made sure every handle is the same dimension so there will not be any surprise when going from 20kg kettlebell to 24kg kettlebell.Along with the Titan Fitness competition kettlebells being universal in handle size, competition kettlebells will also be more accurate to the weight you order than a normal cast iron kettlebell. When you spend your hard-earned money on a 24kg kettlebell, then a 24kg kettlebell is what you should receive.

We are not saying that all cast iron kettlebells are deceiving people by not producing the weight that it reads on the kettlebell…what we are saying is the Titan Fitness competition kettlebells are forged with steel resulting in a more accurate weight.
On top of it all, Titan Fitness competition kettlebells have been released with a different color for almost all of their weight increments. The weight increments range from 8kg to 34kg, which is about 17 pounds to about 75 pounds for any non-kg speakers.
The 8kg Titan Fitness competition kettlebells startoff at a price point around $35, while the heaviest competition kettlebell of 34kg sits at a price of about $119. When compared to other companies such as Rogue Fitness, their 8kg competition kettlebell is currently priced at about $47 and their 36kg (Rogue does not offer a 34kg competition kettlebell) is sitting at $135.
It is important to remember that shipping is always included on any Titan Fitness purchase while it is not included with Rogue’s Kettlebells.
