Product Summary

The Oura Ring is a fitness tracker that claims to help improve your overall health. With claims of helping improve sleep, fertility, and even predicting when you could be getting sick, it may seem like the Oura Ring does it all. After wearing it for two weeks, Oura claims to know your baseline and can predict when you are exercising, napping, or stressed.

Taking on mental wellness as well as physical, Oura claims to be able to monitor your stress levels, and their membership comes with 50 guided meditations to help you relax. Your recorded stress levels, coupled with the data it collects from your activity and sleep, help to create your readiness score. This score is Oura’s way of determining if you are ready for another workout or need to take a rest day.

The Oura Ring can be a bit bulkier and more uncomfortable when gripping a barbell when compared to a traditional fitness tracker worn on your wrist. Additionally, the monthly membership fees to access many of the benefits of the fitness tracker can also be another drawback for the Oura Ring. However, the extensive tracking and smaller design will outweigh these negatives for many customers.
