Product Summary
Victory Grips has long been known for making some of the best hand protection on the market. The brand’s Tactical grips may be the best product yet.
There are two options: Tactical Freedom, which is just a swath of fabric that does not attach to your fingers, or the 3-FC, which has three openings for your fingers.
Eschewing leather, Victory Grips went with a very grippy rubber polymer for the outside of this product (the part that touches the bar). Our testers found a very strong grip when using the three-finger hole design. The added thumb protection is a fantastic way to prevent unwanted chafing when doing high-volume repetitions of pull-ups or toes to bar.
The fingerless option is ideal for those who have trouble sizing grips or those who want to shave seconds off their WOD time by not having to fuss by pulling the grips over their fingers. In testing, we found that the Freedom grips did slip a little during use as opposed to the security of the three-finger-hole option.
Both types of Tactical grips come in two color options: Chalk or Gray. The sizes range from M to 2XL, depending on the style you select.
