I went all the way to Laguna Beach to have a flex-off with the man, the myth, the legend: Jason Khalipa. He is a CrossFit Games champion, gym owner, family man and all-around great human, and I could not have had more fun touring his space and working out with him.
Meeting Jason
If you know anything about CrossFit, odds are you have heard of Jason Khalipa. He won the 2008 CrossFit Games, received the Spirit of the Games Award in 2009, and was on Team USA at the CrossFit Invitational multiple years.
Or, maybe you just know his name for his legendary rowing, lifting, and biceps.
Either way, I was stoked to finally meet him in person and tour his home gym. I love the amount of space he has for movement–and he has some pretty cool equipment, too!
NCFIT App
While I was there, we talked about Jason’s fitness program, NCFIT, which is offered in person but also via an app. The app offers a number of different options for workouts, ranging from bodyweight tracks to competitive workout programming.
I personally got a taste of what it’s like to use the app (check out the video) and I can say: It’s awesome!
