Product Summary
Patagonia’s Altvia Daypack is a lightweight and compact pack designed for short hikes or small outings. The 14-liter load capacity is large enough to store essentials and can hold a 13-inch computer for those using it as a commuter bag. Made primarily with recycled nylon and polyester, this pack has a PFC-free coating that is water repellent.
The Altvia Daypack features a mesh back panel and mesh shoulder straps for ventilation and to prevent moisture buildup. There are two side water bottle holders, however some users reported they did not securely hold the bottles when hiking. This pack is also hydration bladder compatible with a convenient hydration port. Because this is designed for short trips there are not a lot of pockets. Instead, there is only one external zippered pocket in addition to the main compartment.
