Product Summary

The GEL-Kayano 28 shoe is a neutral support, road running shoe from the popular shoe brand. This shoe has been updated to be even lighter and more supportive than previous versions of the shoe.

Asics has updated this shoe by adding Dynamic DuoMax support system and gender-specific 3D SPACE CONSTRUCTION unit. The Dynamic DuoMax support system is designed to help reduce the foot’s inward rolling motion during running. The 3D Space Construction units are located under the heel and forefoot. Asics claims they help reduce the weight of the shoe while improving the cushioning island stability of the shoe. The shoe also features FF Blast cushioning and an engineered mesh upper.

Customer reviews of the GEL-Kayano 28 are very positive. Customers feel the shoe is comfortable and supportive. Many users use the shoe in jobs where they stand on their feet all day. Negative reviews complained that they preferred versions of the Kayano. Customers found the fit too snug and felt the shoe was narrower than predecessors. Multiple customers complained of blisters.
