Rogue Athlete Cerakote Power Bar – Thor Edition

Inspired by Rogue Athlete and world-class Strongman Hafþór Júlíus “Thor” Björnsson, the exclusive THOR EDITION Ohio Power Bar is available here in 20KG and 45LB versions, each featuring our new ultra-durable Cerakote finish. These 29MM bars are fully machined and assembled in Columbus, OH, and–like the standard Ohio Power Bar–they include a 205,000 PSI steel shaft, single powerlifting knurl marks, and center knurling.

As a tribute to Hafthor Bjornsson’s seven-year reign as Iceland’s Strongest Man, the black cerakote shaft in this design also features the Icelandic flag to the right of the center knurl and the nickname THOR in white to the left. Cerakote is a unique polymer-ceramic composite coating–popularized in the gun industry for its durability in thin applications. Offering wear and corrosion resistance up to 100X that of black zinc, it’s a finish worthy of the greatest athletes in the world.

Cerakote has been a game changer in the industry; a durable color finish–first popularized in the gun industry– that’s uniquely resistant to wear and corrosion over time. The versatility of this polymer-ceramic composite coating has enabled new, custom athlete designs like the THOR EDITION Ohio Power Bar, which includes mountainous strongman Hafthor Bjornsson’s nickname and the blue, red & white of his native Icelandic flag on the cerakote shaft.

The Ohio Power Bar’s 29MM diameter steel shaft boasts a tensile strength of 205,000 PSI, delivering superior rigidity and virtually zero whip/flex. Machined and assembled in Columbus, Ohio, the bar also features a snap-ring design and quality bronze bushings for a smooth, consistent feel.

The bar includes single powerlifting marks and a center knurl, each featuring a deep, coarse pattern that produces a reliable grip / stick without being sharp or abrasive. Perfecting this knurl pattern is both a science and an art. Every bar shaft is machined in Columbus on new Haas machines (built in the USA) and fine-tuned and personally tested by the Rogue team.
