Product Summary

If you place a premium on price and size, the Schwinn 411 elliptical may be a good addition to your home gym. This low-impact cardio machine features an 18-inch stride, contact and wireless heart rate monitors, and 16 levels of magnetic resistance allowing you to create a full-body, challenging workout. If you prefer to workout alongside a group, the 411 syncs with the Explore the World, providing access to 19 locations and 27 routes. Unfortunately, there are no pre-programmed workouts on this elliptical.

The basic console display shows time, speed, distance, calories, and heart rate, which can be monitored with the contact grips on the fixed handlebars or wirelessly with a compatible chest strap. While there may not be any programmed workouts, there is a built-in media shelf to place your smart device for entertainment options or when synced to the Explore the World app.

This elliptical does not have a flywheel and, instead, uses magnetic resistance. There are users who felt the resistance was too intense even at the lowest setting so the Schwinn 411 may not be the best choice for beginners. It is a solid choice for those in small spaces as it is compact and has transport wheels. That said, the compact nature does sacrifice stride length, which may feel too short for taller individuals.
