Product Summary
The Synergee Regional Bar is a mid-level bar from the brand great for people who do functional fitness and lift weights. Its multipurpose nature means you can use it for lifts out of the rack and from the floor as well as accessory work. Needle bearings provide for a great spin that you’ll feel on movements like the snatch and the clean. A diamond knurl provides a decent grip for churning out repetitions, but it is not a cheese-grater knurl like you’ll see on powerlifting barbells.
Specs-wise, this barbell impresses: For under $200, you’ll get a bar with 190K PSI tensile strength that is rated for 1,500 pounds. The coatings on the bar include black phosphate and hard chrome. Both of these are a notch or two above hard steel in terms of corrosion resistance, but they aren’t the most durable coatings on the market.
