Product Summary

As a rendition of their best-selling Ultraventure 2, this Ultraventure Pro is even better for its hybrid trail running and hiking abilities. The shoe comes in a stylish forest green color with orange accents for men or teal and mint for women. However, those are the only color options available. There is a decent variety of sizes, ranging from 8-15 for men and 6-12 for women. The limited width sizes may be a significant downside for some, as the shoe is rated with a firm pliability and not much room to break them in or make them flexible for wider feet.

The shoe has a comfortable midsole made from a 3-piece ZipFoam™ and a TPU heel counter. You’ll get excellent traction and stability from the Vibram® Megagrip outsole so you can take on any outdoor activity, rain or shine. The shoe also has an ESS rock plate on the forefoot to protect your foot on the terrain.

Summary

The Topo brand is high quality, providing high-tech cushioning and support for their shoes. However, we're less than impressed with the lack of options for style and fit on the Ultraventure Pro shoe. The reviews are mixed, with people loving and hating the shoe. Still, there are better options out there that are less expensive and provide similar terrain running support.
