Editor’s Note: The ProForm 10.0 TT Treadmill is no longer in production. We suggest viewing the ProForm Carbon T10 as the best alternative, or view our Best Folding Treadmills roundup for more options.

The ProForm 10.0 TT treadmill could be considered a beginner treadmill out of the ProForm trainer series. It’s a smaller machine that could be good for home gym owners with limited room or someone who wants a second option in case they can’t walk or run outside. It also would be beneficial for seniors or trainees who want a machine with low impact.

The 10.0 TT is no longer in production and isn’t available through ProForm, but you can still see the details of the machine on the ProForm website and it may still be available at other retailers. If you’re considering adding this piece of cardio equipment to your home gym, check out our ProForm 10.0 TT Treadmill review first so you’re in the know.

A Quick Look at the ProForm 10.0 TT Treadmill

The 10.0 TT isn’t a very fancy machine, but it works. There are multiple programs that can challenge you as you progress on your fitness journey. You can either use iFIT while you’re on the machine, or watch something on your smartphone or tablet thanks to the holder that is on the console. ProForm had it on their website for a sale price of $1,299, but it’s currently in stock on Walmart’s website for $899 and you may be able to find it elsewhere online.

Key Features of the ProForm 10.0 TT Treadmill

The biggest feature that should be covered is the 22 workout apps that come with it. That allows a lot of variety to keep the workout experience interesting. There are also two built-in speakers that serve as its sound system. Connect your device to the audio auxiliary port, and you’re ready to listen while you train.

It’s also a quiet treadmill. The 2.75 CHP motor won’t make much noise while you’re exercising, so it won’t bother others around you. However, this also means it may not be the best choice for multiple users or advanced athletes who run for competition or as their primary form of fitness.

Footprint, Portability, and Durability

This treadmill is over 6 feet tall and close to 5 feet long. It’s a great choice for taller users, but it would also be beneficial for people who need to make the most out of the space they have available. It can be folded with the SpaceSaver design, and the back end can easily be lifted to fold it thanks to its EasyLift technology.

There is one downside, however. Since the tread belt is single-ply, you may have to replace it sooner than you would with other treadmills in the ProForm line.

Ergonomics

The 20-inch by 60-inch tread belt is equipped with ProShox Cushioning designed to put less stress on your joints. The machine also has handles on the front and sides for balance, if necessary. All handles have built-in heart rate monitor grips.

Technology Benefits and Conveniences

The 6-inch HD touchscreen display is small but it’s easy to use and operate for beginners. There are pockets on the sides of the console for your phone, towel, or other small items you need to keep. It has a quick incline option, which goes up to 12% incline. Furthermore, it has up to 12 mph digital QuickSpeed control. The CoolAire fans will keep air blowing while you’re moving. Like many other treadmills, the 10.0 TT has a quick-stop option should you need to end the session quickly.

Final Verdict of Our ProForm 10.0 TT Treadmill Review

The ProForm 10.00 TT Treadmill may have been considered by some to be overpriced at $1,299, but the $899 price tag for Walmart is better. It is a good machine for someone who wants to add a treadmill to their training routine arsenal. The higher weight capacity (325 pounds) makes it a great choice for someone who wants to lose weight.

ProForm 10.0 TT Treadmill FAQs

Is a ProForm treadmill worth it?

That is a question that is ultimately answered by the person spending the money, but we feel that investing in ProForm treadmills will result in a solid return on that investment. They work well, last a long time, and can be beneficial for all fitness enthusiasts.

Is ProForm a good brand?

We feel so. ProForm is owned by iFIT Health & Fitness Inc., formerly known as Icon Health & Fitness, the same company that owns NordicTrack, and they are both renowned for their cardio equipment. ProForm makes more than treadmills, they also produce rowers, bikes, and ellipticals that have been popular with many home gym owners.

Can you use ProForm without membership?

You don’t need the iFIT membership to use a ProForm machine. However, if you want to reap the most benefits from the 10.0 TT or any other cardio machine they offer, then subscribing to iFIT would be a good idea.

What if I don’t want an iFIT membership?

You don’t have to activate the trial iFIT subscription that comes with the 10.0 TT, just step up onto the treadmill, choose your settings, and start moving.

How much does iFIT cost per month?

As of January 2023, an individual iFIT subscription costs $15 a month or $180 a year. Family memberships cost $39 a month or $396 a year. There is no contract with the subscription.
