Product Summary
Hoka’s Men’s Gaviota 4 stability running shoe delivers maximum cushioning and stability in a lightweight shoe. Featuring Hoka’s signature J-Frame, the Gaviota 4 are engineered to prevent overpronation and underpronation without compromising your natural gait. Additional stability is offered by the midfoot H-frame, which provides a solid lockdown and snug fit. However, there are some users who found the midfoot to be too snug.
The Gaviota 4 are outfitted with a breathable mesh upper, durabrasion rubber, heel pull tab, and a compression-molded foam insole. The included late stage Meta-Rocker technology reportedly provides a smooth ride and encourages a strong toe-off. This model has an updated hidden eyestay for added reinforcement and a single-sided plush tongue gusset to reduce slippage.
While most users appreciate the maximum level of cushioning, the Gaviota do not lend themselves well to sprinting as a result of this cushioning. These premium shoes come with a price tag to match.
