Product Summary
The Hoka Torrent 2 was designed for trail racing. It is a lightweight shoe to help you speed down trails. This shoe uses recycled materials to help lessen its impact on the environment.
The Torrent 2 features an updated outsole traction design with multi-directional lugs to provide even better traction than the Torrent 1. The shoe uses Hoka’s PROFLY midsole, which HOKA shares provides a cushioned landing and propulsive toe-off. There is an engineered mesh using recycled fibers and overlays to help protect your feet while running on trails.
Based on reviews, the Torrent 2 does not seem as popular as the Torrent 1. Customers complained that the heel was wider and the shoe felt stiffer. Customers that had not worn the Torrent 1 liked the shoe and found it comfortable and supportive. Some users did have issues with the Torrent’s durability, specifically the outsole separating from the shoe after a few uses. Customers did note that HOKA customer service was responsive and provided a full refund.
